Request "List UserCustomAction"

Dec 31, 2013 at 9:49 AM
The application don't have the option to list the "UserCustomActionCollection" action associated with the Web Object or Lists Object, this could be a nice add-in to the solution.

This can be use to see the existing Custom actions added by code, WSP customization, migration etc etc...

Maybe the option is there but i didn't see in your code...
"How to: Work with User Custom Actions"

PS: I made the change in the code for my own purpose, maybe can be interesting to include in your solution since you are the owner of the solution.

Kind regards,

Hi André,

Thanks for the input! I will include it in the next release which I'm trying to get out within a month. I included the code already, but need to build a new release.

Hope you like the new version!

Hi Bram,

Thank you for the update. :)
I really like your tool, i made something similar for my self but not that much complete like yours (far away)...

There is another add-in you can include in your solution,
When a object is selected "Web, List" you can include a new Tab call "REST" between "Schema" and "MSDN Help",
There you can make direct call using url, example:
Object Web:
Tab "REST" with url https://[Site]/_api/web/ and his XML output
Object folders:
Tab "REST" with url https://[Site]/_api/web/Folders and his XML output
and the same of the other objects....

SharePoint 2013 REST Syntax (wall posters)

But i understand this is time consumption we normally don't have... "family"
This idea is for your consideration if you think this can be a nice add-in to the tool.

Take your time :) and keep up the good work.

Kind regards,
André Lage

That's a nice suggestion. I'll think about that and try to add it in a new release.

For now the new release (v1.2) is available and contains the User Custom Actions (on 3 levels: site collection, web, list) you were referring to. Enjoy!
