Editing settings (SharePoint 2010 Client Browser (Preview) v0.6)

Did I miss something or is there no option to edit and save settings using the SharePoint 2010 Client Browser (Preview) v0.6 ??

e.g. change a list field from ReadOnlyField = True to False and save this setting.

I've got the same question, but with the SharePoint Online environment. I can't find any indication, positive or negative, about whether or not this tool can be used to modify things in the SharePoint environment. Fields are editable in the tool, but I can't find a way to make them stick. Specifically, I'm trying to modify the default values on some dropdown column values in document libraries across my farm. I don't know if CSOM makes this possible at all, but I certainly can't figure out how to do it with this tool.

All the same, this tool is pretty cool.

Thanks.

Hello both,

The SharePoint Client Browser is a read-only tool which allows to view all settings. The tool is not build to make changes to settings.

Is changing/save settings something that is on the feature list?

The SharePoint Client Browser is still a read-only tool and will be in the future. It is not aimed at administration and making changes to sites. It supports power users, developers to get a better understanding of the CSOM and provides insights into the values of properties for live sites.
